Welcome to another season of hockey with an all new water turf in 2024.

All games are played in Ngatea. We have  primary, secondary and senior winter competitions.  With Tiny Sticks for pre school children and The Hockey Big Day Out, a chance for primary students to "give hockey a go".

Welcoming players from all over the district from school ages 1 - 8. Team  registrations are now open.

Secondary Hockey  Team Registrations are now open.  Players should should in the first instant contact your school or secretary@valleyhockey.org.nz to find a team. 

All secondary Players are invited to a pre season session with Alex Lukin on Wednesday 17 April - Booking essential.  Coaches are welcome to join.

MILLION DOLLAR TURF UPGRADE 

The new Tigerturf Wettpro/Ecocept turf has been installed bringing this sub regional sports facility to be one of the newest, state of the art turfs in the country.  Thank you to all our supporters, funders and volunteers for making this happen.
